Grocery chain boss Edwin Booth has been honoured for his contribution to the Lancashire economy.
Mr Booth, chairman of EH Booth and Co Ltd, which has its headquarters in Fulwood, Preston, has been made an Honorary Fellow of St Martin's College in Lancasater.
This is in recognition of his contribution to business in the North West and for his "outstanding commitment to supporting local and regional suppliers in the food industry".
Booths has supermarkets across Lancashire as well as other parts of the region.
