Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) announced that its Optimum T4210 is the first card payment terminal to receive Saudi Payments Network (SPAN2) certification by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, the central bank of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the certification, Hypercom becomes the only high security electronic transaction solutions provider offering both SPAN1 (old switch) and SPAN2 (new switch) compliant terminals in the country.
