HENDRIX Genetics B.V. and Sofiproteol announced that they have completed an agreement in which Hendrix has acquired France Hybrides, a French swine breeding business, from Groupe Glon, which is majority owned by Sofiproteol.
The agreement also provides for Sofiproteol to acquire 12% of Hendrix stock and become a long-term strategic partner and for Hendrix and Sofiproteol to focus on consolidation and growth opportunities in global animal breeding and life sciences, according to the announcement.
