Despite the sluggish $29.1 billion candy industry, The Jelly Belly Candy Company is seeing success in almost every jelly bean it produces, about 300,000-lbs. a day to be exact. The company saw a 25% increase in sales since 2006, with current sales reaching the $160 million mark with aims at $200 million by 2010, according to The New York Times (June 26).
