WILLIAMSBURG, Va., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- With the 1996 Olympic Games just one month away, the athletes of the U.S. team are making their post-Games party plans.
Officials from the United States Olympic Committee and Busch Gardens, along with U.S. Olympic men's basketball team member and NBA star Hakeem Olajuwon, announced today that the Williamsburg theme park will host a special celebration for the U.S. Olympic Team, Aug. 7-9. More than 300 athletes are expected to attend.
Olajuwon joined a news conference at the park to unveil the name of the event -- Victory Lap '96: Busch Gardens Salutes Team USAT -- along with details of the athletes' activities, ...
