Jun. 20--Paul Harris Stores have a new look, and so the does the Indianapolis retail chain's bottom line.

Executives said they accomplished a dramatic turnaround from a year ago, surviving what Paul Harris Inc. Chairman Charlotte Fischer said was the toughest retail environment in her 25 years in the industry.

Fischer talked up the 221-store chain's successes during Wednesday's annual meeting at Paul Harris offices on the city's Northwestside.
