The Rouser probably will sound different. The air definitely will feel different. And maybe, just maybe, the Gophers will play differently. Yes, the sights and sounds of college football will be back on the University of Minnesota campus a little more than one year from now. The long-awaited return to campus will end on Sept. 12, 2009, when the Gophers inaugurate their new outdoor stadium against the Air Force Academy.
