A 'FORCEFUL' Rugby woman who bit and scratched five police officers has been sentenced to four months in jail.
Samantha Robbins, formerly of William Street, pleaded guilty to assaulting three police officers in Rugby. She also admitted assaulting two police officers in Nuneaton.
Robbins, 24, a former drug user of no fixed address, appeared at Rugby Magistrates' Court on Monday.
She had to be handcuffed in the dock after threatening police officers at a previous court hearing.
The court heard that on April 7 Robbins, who was in custody in Rugby at the time, was visited by PC Michelle Busby and PC Nicholas Ledbury.
