OWINGS MILLS, Md., June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: IHS) and Capstone Pharmacy Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: DOSE) today announced the signing of a definitive agreement for the sale of IHS's pharmacy division, Symphony Pharmacy Services, Inc. to Capstone.

Symphony Pharmacy provides institutional pharmacy dispensing and consulting services to approximately 40,000 residents in over 380 long- term care facilities in eight states. Symphony Pharmacy's revenues are currently running at an annualized rate of approximately $109 million based on the first quarter 1996.
