Add Dallas to the fast-growing list of North American cities that have incorporated light rail into their mass transit systems.
Following the recent triumphs of MetroLink in St. Louis and RTD in Denver, Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) new light rail system promises to be a success story of its own, thanks to consensus and sound planning, on a region-wide basis, on the type of mass transit system the city and it suburbs truly need.
