NEW YORK - In the wake of Richard Downing's departure from the presidency at Cone Decorative Fabrics, parent Cone Mills is searching for someone to run the multifaceted home fabrics division.
Norman Friedman, former president of John Wolf, will act as interim president.
Downing left his post last week at Cone Decorative Fabrics, which includes John Wolf, David & Dash Greeff and Cone Jacquards.
Cone Mills released a terse statement: "Richard Downing, president, Cone Decorative Fabrics, is no longer with the company and win pursue other business interests.
