PATTIE Boyd, the original rock chick, has backed her friend, Jo Wood, to keep Rolling Stone Ronnie out of the arms of his teenage lover, Ekaterina Ivanova.
Pattie, who was in town yesterday to launch a photographic exhibition at Gallery No.1, knows better than most the difficulties of being a rock stars wife.
The former model was thrust into the public eye in the Swinging Sixties when she married George Harrison but the fairytale marriage turned sour because of The Quiet Beatles drug-taking and adultery.
She then became embroiled in a tug-of-war for her affections between Harrison and his erstwhile best friend, Eric Clapton.
