A CardBus card combines the low-power, small form-factor, and light weight of a PC Card with the performance of PCI. However, proper configuration is essential to gain the full benefits of this device.
When CardBus cards interface to a PCI bus via a PCI-to-CardBus badge [ILLUSTRATION FOR FIGURE 1 OMITTED], the system-configuration process includes configuring the bridge as well as the cards themselves.
