ILOILO CITY, Aug. 29 (PNA) - The salvage operation is still ongoing for the MV Ocean Papa which sunk during the height of Typhoon Frank last June 21 off the coast of Maralison island in Culasi, Antique .
Commander of the Coast Guard District Western Visayas Commodore William Melad said that so far the CJ Gaspar Salvage and Lighterage Company, which started its salvage operation last Aug. 11, has already started to cut the side part of the sunken vessel. This will be towed to the shorelines of the island.
