Jun. 25--Three prominent Twin Cities publications -- Corporate Report Minnesota, Twin Cities Reader and Minneapolis/St. Paul CityBusiness -- are being acquired by American City Business Journals, a unit of the vast Newhouse family empire that publishes The New Yorker, GQ, Vanity Fair and other magazines and newspapers.

American City Business Journals, a unit of Newhouse-owned Advance Publications, said on Monday it reached agreement to acquire CityMedia Inc. of Minneapolis.
