Global leaders combine strengths to form Cultor Food Science.
On January 28, the Pfizer Food Science Group was combined with the Xyrofin and Flavoring divisions of Cultor, the Finnish-based nutrition company. Known as Cultor Food Science, the New York City-based company offers innovative ingredients, including sweeteners, reduced-calorie bulking agents and fat replacers, as well as flavor ingredients and food protectants. It's a natural synergy combining Pfizer's expertise in chemistry with Cultor's expertise in separation, chromatography, microbiology and biotechnology.
