DOG-LOVER Nikki Sharp rescued two Neopolitan Mastiffs from the street who underwent a rags-to- riches transformation to star in the Harry Potter movies.
Nikki is the only person in the country who rehomes the giant dogs, and when the makers of the blockbuster schoolboy wizard movies needed to find a doggy star to play Fang, they turned to Nikki.
Fang is the boar hound who belongs to Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper, played by actor Robbie Coltrane.
In fact, Fang is a Neopolitan Mastiff and in three of the four Harry Potter films released, he was played by two of Nikki's rescue dogs, Vito and Levi.
