The EU will suffer more than Russia if it chooses to impose sanctions over the South Ossetia crisis, Moscow's ambassador to the UK warned yesterday.
Yuri Fedotov delivered the stark message after Gordon Brown threatened a "root and branch" review of relations with the Kremlin.
