BOSTON - Now that quarterback Matt Ryan has gone on to the ultra-green pastures (six years, $72 million) of the Atlanta Falcons, the expectations for Boston College are lower as far as those around the Atlantic Coast Conference are concerned.
After Ryan became the third overall pick in the NFL Draft, BC - which played in last year's ACC championship game - was picked to finish fourth in the conference's six-team Atlantic Division by the media, and fifth by Sports Illustrated.
But second-year coach Jeff Jagodzinski is having none of that.
