Nisa pays surplus funds to members.(news)(Nisa Today's Ltd.)(Financial report)(Brief article)

Nisa-Today's is to give back 500,000 [pounds sterling] in surplus funds to its members in its first repayment to them since 2005.

The buying group and symbol operator notched up record sales worth 1.14bn [pounds sterling] in the year to March up from 1.08bn [pounds sterling] the year before. Profit on ordinary activities was up from 1.9m [pounds sterling] to 3.1m [pounds sterling].

"This is a positive performance for the year in light of the marketplace and current economic climate," said John Schofield, chief financial officer.

"We are pleased to be able to reward our members in this way for their commitment to the group over the past few years."
