A SCARBOROUGH artist and art lecturer, who aims to paint all the stately homes across Yorkshire, is staging an exhibition at one of the region's country houses.
Kane Cunningham, who lectures fine art at Yorkshire Coast College, hopes to revive the popularity of landscape painting by following in the footsteps of Joseph Mallard William Turner, one of England's most famous landscape artists. Mr Cunningham's ultimate goal is to paint as many of stately homes as possible, eventually moving on to the Royal estates and Windsor.
