DOZENS of gipsies have set up camp on the outskirts of Scar-borough.
The travellers traditionally come to the town just before Seamer Fair each year and some become involved in horse trading.
An official site has been provided for the gipsies on land between Musham Bank Road and the Seamer by-pass.
Cllr Lucy Haycock, who represents the Seamer Ward, said: "I been contacted by several local residents who have expressed their concern about the arrival of the gipsies.
"Since last Christmas a steering group has held several meetings to discuss how to provide a suitable temporary site for the travellers.
