THE government's attempt to revive the housing market by axing stamp duty on properties of pounds 175,000 or less has been branded 'better late than never'.
Harvey Williams, Coventry and Warwickshire regional spokesman for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), said the move would bring a much needed boost to the market.
