BOLTON - When the Nashoba Regional High School field hockey team qualified for the District Tournament last year, no member of the squad had ever been to the postseason.
That didn't stop the Chieftains from winning their preliminary round game with Marlboro, 1-0 in triple overtime, before bowing out of the tournament with a loss to perennial powerhouse Notre Dame.
The experience gained from those two games should benefit the team this year, according to Nashoba coach Jaime Mariani.
