Three decades of dedication to silk weaving has brought a top award for a company chairman.
David Tooth, who joined Vanners Silks in Sudbury as a trainee in 1972, has received the 2006 Silver Medal from the Worshipful Company of Weavers.
It marks his contribution to the textile industry.
Mr Tooth, 57, who is now chairman of Silk Industries Limited, started at Vanners after seeing an advert for a graduate trainee.
