Sudbury Ladies completed a busy weekend with victory at Bromley and Beckenham on Sunday in the England Hockey Trophy second round.
Sudbury knew they were facing strong opposition as Bromley are currently top of East division 1 south, and they started strongly, putting early pressure on the Sudbury defence.
The first big opportunity of the game came when Bromley were awarded a penalty flick in the first five minutes.
This was the first test for Sudbury, and the first hero of the day was Annie Basham who dived to turn the ball wide.
