An EastEnders star with a body of work including Carry On movies has found she has unlikely links with an East Anglian artist.
Barbara Windsor, famous for her heaving bosom and distinctive laugh, has been linked with 19th Century artist John Constable.
The links will be shown in next week's Who Do You Think You Are? programme on the BBC which traces her family back to the village of Bures.
A BBC spokeswoman said the link between Miss Windsor and the artist, famous for painting The Haywain, was not strong.
"She's Constable's third cousin, six times removed, but Barbara thought it was a wonderful surprise."
