AFC SUDBURY'S hopes of a place in the FA Cup first round proper were shattered deep into stoppage time when the visitors scored the winner, just seconds before the final whistle.
It was a cruel blow to Mark Morsley's team, who deserved at least a replay after playing the final third of the game with ten men following the dismissal of defender Shane Wardley.
In fact AFC looked to have won the game with five minutes remaining when James Rowe netted after Andy Claydon's shot had rebounded off a post, but the effort was ruled out for offside.
