AN "irreplaceable" 14th century church window and mosaic bricks made by four-year-olds have been smashed by yobs.
Vandals caused an estimated [pounds sterling]11,000 damage in Gedney over the weekend by attacking St Mary Magdalene Church and the primary school.
A total of 29 windows, including a 14th century Jesse window, were damaged and a priest's robe and altar cloth were set on fire.
Yesterday (Monday) teachers at Gedney Church End Primary School had to break the news to children that their hard work had been damaged.
Teacher Pam Bradbury was one of the first people to see the damage at the school, which was discovered on Sunday ...
