Controversy surrounded Long Sutton's visit to Watford as this East Men's Premier League B match was abandoned with three minutes left to play due to inadequate lighting.
Sutton were caught napping, conceding after only twenty seconds - a West Hert's forward beating three challenges and striking a low shot past Jake Loweth.
Sutton composed themselves and could have been 5-1 ahead by the break if not for the heroics of the home keeper.
Sutton were finally rewarded for their fine play when Mark Bryan levelled with a reverse stick chip early in the second half.
