GREEN-minded children at a South Tyneside school got a dose of environmental education through the medium of drama.
Pupils at Boldon School were treated to a drama workshop on recycling by acting duo Martin Bloomfield and Barbara French.
The performers used everything from a stuffed dog to a unicycle to get across their environmental message.
Mr Bloomfield said: "Obviously, the main thing is to have fun but with a message.
"We're both very environmentally conscious, and recycling is something very important for the future of the planet.
