KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. -- CSL Biotherapies, a subsidiary of one of the world's leading manufacturers of influenza vaccine, announced today that it has begun shipment of its influenza virus vaccine in the U.S. for the 2008-2009 season. CSL plans to deliver more than six million doses of Afluria and the majority of the supply will be in single-dose, thimerosal-free, pre-filled syringes.
