Energy Ministry to propose leveling export duties on oil product (Part 2)
MOSCOW. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Energy Ministry will propose to the government next week that one export duty be applied to both light and heavy oil products, Deputy Energy Minister Stanislav Svetlitsky told journalists.
"This proposal will be submitted to the government on Monday," he said.
Most oil companies agree with the Energy Ministry's view that export duties on light and heavy oil products should be equal, he said.
The duties will be leveled out by raising the duty on heavy oil products and lowering the duty on light products, he said.
