Gurit has sold its sintered winter sport activities to CPS GmbH, an Austrian plastics firm.
CPS has acquired German subsidiary Gurit Vreden GmbH, as well as some additional running base equipment, formerly based in Switzerland. These activities had combined annual sales of more than CHF10 million in 2007.
With this sale, Gurit is ending its long-standing presence in the winter sports materials market, which it describes as competitive and consolidating.
