SHEFFIELD MPs are seeking financial support from the Government - expected to be millions of pounds - to help with the aftermath of the flooding disaster.
They planned to discuss the emergency in the House of Commons today.
Attercliffe MP Clive Betts is to ask Secretary of State for the Environment David Milliband for help.
Mr Betts said the city's MPs wanted immediate support in terms of anything the Government could offer to deal with the emergency as it unfolds, plus long-term financial support to help with the clean-up of Sheffield and rebuilding the city.
