Here is some information to supplement your current safety training program
Plant engineers have little occasion to personally use power tools in the course of their on-the-job activities, and some, in fact, are prohibited by union contract from doing so. However, all plant engineers are responsible for ensuring that their employees who use power tools have been properly trained in their safe operation. And it is incumbent on all plant engineers to ensure that those employees observe in practice the safety procedures that they have been taught.
