Steve McClaren claims Steven Gerrard is finally reproducing his superb club form for his country.
Gerrard will win his 50th England cap against Macedonia on Wednesday but has rarely dazzled on the international stage the way he has for Liverpool.
He has been switched from central midfield to the right flank by McClaren and has responded with brilliant performances against Greece and Andorra.
McClaren said: "He's been influential for Liverpool over the years and has changed games and won European Cups by himself.
