Steelers' young Brit Jason Hewitt believes his own lack of points last season is the reason he was not selected to play for Great Britain next week in France.
Hewitt was selected in an initial squad for the Pool B World Championships in Amiens but was dropped from the final roster.
His Sheffield team mates Paul Sample, Warren Tait and Mark Thomas all made the squad.
"Obviously I'm very disappointed but that's the way things go sometimes," says the forward.
