Chris Taylor, released by Yorkshire at his own request towards the end of last season, hit a century on his return to Headingley today to set Derbyshire up for a 21-run win in the C&G Trophy.
Taylor scored exactly 100 off 125 balls - with five fours and a six - in only the fourth one-day innings of his career.
And his contribution helped Derbyshire to a 50-over score of 251 for six which proved to be beyond Yorkshire's reach.
The visitors, put in, lost an early wicket when Michael Di Venuto clipped Australian-born paceman Mitch Claydon, straight into the hands of Anthony McGrath at square leg.
