SHEFFIELD Steelers eased their relegation worries with a deserved draw at home to high-fliers Heaton Mersey in the Men's North of England League.
But Steelers skipper Simon Jones was left rueing missing the chance to scoop maximum points as Mersey grabbed their equaliser with just seven seconds remaining.
"We should have won, but we let Mersey score that goal at the end," said Jones.
Sheffield led 7-2 at half-time, only to be pegged back.
"It's a shame we didn't win because I thought we deserved to, but at least we got something from the match."
Steelers' point leaves them third from bottom, but with fellow strugglers Mellor ...
