ISO standard set to tipple world market
A new international environmental standard called ISO 14000 is about to make the same kind of splash that its quality-minded cousin, ISO 9000, made a few years ago.
While it hasn't generated many headlines yet, the advent of ISO 14000 is Topic A for corporate environmental health and safety overseers. If it isn't yet on top management's agenda, it will be soon.
