BURLINGTON, N.J., July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Franklin Electronic Publishers (NYSE: FEP), creator of innovative, portable communication devices for people with special needs, will develop a pocket-size version of the award-winning The American Sign Language Dictionary, company officials said today.
Franklin has licensed The ASL Dictionary on CD-ROM from HarperCollins, one of the world's largest English language book publishers. The ASL Dictionary on CD-ROM contains 2,400 signs and concise text on the history and usage of American Sign Language.
