After his stint as musical director and guitarist for Mick Jagger's '93 Wandering Spirit album and tour, Jimmy Rip found himself standing at the crossroads. Years of cool sideman gigs with Tom Verlaine, Kid Creole & The Coconuts and others had brought him to a sideman's ultimate assignment: co-writing new hits and re-creating classic live cuts with the Stone's legendary singer. Where do you go from there?
