SEATTLE -- Horizon Air today announced new nonstop jet service between Sacramento and Santa Barbara starting Nov. 9, 2008, linking the state capital with the popular South Coast city.
"Instead of spending hours on the road or flying to an out-of-the-way airport, business travelers and those traveling on government-related business can fly nonstop between Sacramento and Santa Barbara, put in a day's work, and be home the same day," said Dan Russo, vice president of marketing and communications at Horizon.
Sacramento and Santa Barbara lost their nonstop air connection on Sept. 1 when another airline pulled out of the route.
