COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Jul. 3--San Franciscans stuck in traffic on the Bay Bridge this week are being told to consider the alternative -- a better lifestyle in Colorado Springs.
The advice comes in the form of a radio ad campaign by San Francisco's ABC-TV affiliate, KGO Channel 7. The ad tells the story of a fictional character named Chuck, whose idea of an extravagant vacation is "a weekend in Half Moon Bay during the pumpkin harvest."
Then Chuck watches a Channel 7 report about inexpensive flights being offered by start-up airlines, including Western Pacific Airlines.
