A DONCASTER dad who terrorised the mother of his son with a Samurai sword during a terrifying row has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.
Simon Garforth, aged 25, has also been ordered to keep away from his ex-partner when he is released.
The court heard he was a "significant risk" to other members of the public as well as his former girlfriend and their child.
"You seem to have little understanding of the harm that your actions can produce and I see no alternative but to impose an extended sentence," Judge Jacqueline Davies told him.
