A SHEFFIELD man committed suicide in a tragic case of history repeating itself.
Paul Wear, aged 32, took a blade to his wrist in his home on Harcourt Road, Crookesmoor, after being diagnosed with the liver condition Hepatitis C.
His premature death mirrored those of both his birth parents - a drug addict mother and his father - who both committed suicide when he was young.
Mr Wear's tragic start in life was outlined at a Sheffield inquest into his death where it emerged that, as a newborn baby, he had to be weaned off drugs because of his mother's addiction while she was pregnant.
