A LANDLORD stabbed a defenceless drinker through the heart after violence flared at a Sheffield pub, a court heard.
Dean Walton is accused of murdering bricklayer Daniel Massey in the car park of the Arbourthorne Hotel last October.
Walton has admitted stabbing the 20-year-old - but claims he used the knife in self-defence and did not intend to kill him.
Shortly before the incident, Mr Massey's girlfriend Shauna Clark became embroiled in a fight with Cheriann Rodgers.
