One of the oldest companies in the domestic heating market, Sheffield-based Trianco, has been acquired in a management buy-out led by managing director Peter Ferguson.
Chapeltown-based Trianco is one of the leaders in the oil-fired and electric heating boiler market, with blue-chip customers including DIY and plumbers' merchants.
The 60 employee firm began life making coal-fired ranges as part of the Newton Chambers group in the 1850s.
It moved to a new factory near its original works 16 months ago, with backing from former owner Union Investment, a subsidiary of the privately-owned Swedish investment group Browallia International.
