A SOUTH Yorkshire organisation set up to give offenders and their victims of crime the opportunity to meet or write to each other has been recognised for its work.
Remedi - a restorative justice and mediation service - has been singled out by The Howard League for Penal Reform, which is running a Community Sentences Cut Crime campaign.
Representatives from the national body visited Remedi's office in Sheffield to publicise its campaign and an award scheme it is running to celebrate the work of organisations and encouraging others to learn from their experiences and successes.
